how the **** does this **** still get to referee professional football?

absolutely brilliant- late challenge on johnson results in a throw in (despite the linesman flagging for a free-kick) a petulant trip on tudgay (i think) results in a freekick and nothing more- throwins were given the wrong way regularly (often without the ball going out at all), goal-kicks are given as corners (always against us though, and again despite the linesman's flag), being held down is a freekick against us etc.

now- if that worked both ways fine- with d'urso, an identicle tackle to the trip that resulted in a free-kick against them results in a booking against us and to top it all greenings 2 pushes, body check and choke hold gets punished with a booking for him and a red for jj (probably for a two-footed header)

well done ****- rest assured if i get hold of your address or phone number it will be published on the internet as soon as possible afterwards. then everyone from every club can repeatedly demand answers- the fa will probably thank me if it results in you deciding the hassle is too much and quitting

what we'll get is it rightfully rescinded- you see, we don't appeal petulant slaps

as for league 1- doubt it. fairly simple response, but it has to be given to clueless boro fans

you know you've got a point on a bad referee when the opposition manager doesn't understand a decision and skysports put it down as an alleged incident- not looking good mr d'urso, the complaints department at the fa/pgmb/whoever it is thats in charge of refs now is going to have some very interesting reading

in fact if this wasn't football that peformance (especially after having a mare on saturday and a career littered with mistakes) would spell the end- wonder if the fa have got the guts for a high profile sacking

I find your comments far too offensive. Whats threating the man helping?? Anyway on the topic of Andy D'Urso...one of the best referees in the Football League and is quite unfortunate not to be on the Premier League panel having been demoted 2 seasons ago. He has been fine all this season averaging 2 yellow cards per game and I think that after the QPR vs Stoke last Sunday in which a red card that was produced to a Stoke player was rescinded Mr D'Urso seemed to lose it really.

I have never seen him doing bad and is usually a quiet referee that likes to keep his lips far from his whistle as much as possible and I'm really surprised that he's had a bad game. To me Andy D'Urso has always been a timid referee after that match at Old Trafford where Roy Keane ran him for about 100 yards about the pitch for awarding a penalty against Utd but I would find it really unfair for the man to be penalized for one game as he has been far too excellent this season and its obvious that the FL agree with my fact of him being an excellent referee because despite to somewhat bad performances at QPR and Wednesday he has a bit of a ''toughie'' this coming Sunday in Chester vs Wrexham but again we are all human W4L

good ref?

every time he comes to hillsborough he ruins the game

the man is an incompetant joke- in fact with the way he refs games at hillsborough i'm on the verge of questioning his impartiality

neil warnock is a qualified ref- perhaps me saying that i'd rather have him every game from now till he's is in a wheelchair and finds refing impossible than andy d'urso once in any competition shows just the level of incompetance we're talking about from him

it's not even like these games are one off's

oh- and your wrong about him being relegated from the select group. he successfully appealed against that, he's just so bad that the premier league (and the fa) would rather see him ruining championship games. if the FL had a choice he wouldn't be anywhere near a pitch

and being human can not be used as an excuse this time- he could see what was happening, as could everyone else in the ground. this should explain how big a mistake it was- while wednesday fans jumped up and had a go at greening wanting him off, west brom fans stood waiting for the red to be produced to him

theres also this picture that shows how wrong he got it- first reaction, before protest to any obviously wrong decision would be shock, i think that perfectly sums up richard hinds and jj's reaction

now- as he took action against greening that can't be upgraded by the fa in retrospect, the fair course of action would be for andy d'urso to serve a 3 match ban (6 if the nobs at the fa decide to uphold the wrongful dismissal)

Nah you've got it wrong. He appealed against it that season and was demoted the following season so he is basically a Football-League referee. Whats that two referees you despise...Steve Bennett and Andy D'Urso?? Both well respected referees. I didn't see anything about an appeal from your club so thats a 4 match suspension as he's been sent off before this season....The fact that you've questioned his impartiality leaves a lot to be concerned about.

obviously you don't realise that football league drounds don't have several camera angles and the one that we do have is rubish

and i'll continue to question his impartiality untill he does something to indicate he actually has some

oh- and ask any fan they'll tell you that andy d'urso is bollocks, and many would say the same about steve bennett. the fa have so far recieved thousands of emails from wednesday fans about this game demanding an end to premier league refs in the championship (and that includes when the fa decide they aren't good enough anymore) as there's always more problems with them than anyone else- hopefully the club also make an official complaint about him, he deserves a lengthy ban as a minimum

It really makes me wonder how a referee from Billericay can be biased to a team from Sheffield. And its not about referees not being good enough to be in the Premier League at all! Its more likely to have a premier league referee to referee a big game in the Championship for example Mark Halsey did your Sheffield derby and by no stretch of the imagination was he unwanted in the Premier League....so your point on not liking these referees is really confusing.

you said yourself andy d'durso wasn't good enough for the prem- the rest just aren't good enough for a physical game (ie, football played by british lads in a british style- otherwise known as how it should be)

in fact in the last 5 years (since division 2) mark halsey is the only decent ref from the prem we've had. last season i believe we only had graham poll and steve bennet at hillsborough- in those games graham poll cost us points and cup progrss and bennett cost us points (both directly). tuesday andy d'urso indirectly cost us points. graham poll i can just about forgive, he bottled a major decision while giving a softer one the other way (which is what you come to expect against premier league sides in the cup) and possibly couldn't see the major decision in the other game, but steve bennett gave a blatantly obvious dive that occurred 3 yards outside the box as a penalty and a red card, and now andy d'urso not only makes the one major decision wrong, but also every minor decision- my old sunday league ref was better

he should be held accountable- his assors report should be made available to anyone who wants it and the fa should be publicly seen to take action
