The past three matches, the much-hated (by me at least) Jan Budtz hasn't had his game in goal and what a fantastic turn around we've seen both from the keeper, Lee-Barret, and the defence. Lee-Barret has improved a lot since we last seen him on the first team, and the communication between the full defence has been on top form.

What a brilliant match it was tonight at the Vic. We created some fantastic choices and kept their DODGY KEEPA, DODGY KEEPA, OW-OH OW-OH! on his toes all through the game.

Going by the amount of chances we created tonight, we should have really won by three or four goals, and our defence was also a huge improvement on previous games, but the lack of should-have-been goals wasn't for not trying.

Sweeney, McCunnie, Mackay and Collins performed superbly tonight though nobody on the team could have been faulted.

On behalf of all of the Poolies who froze their tits and bollocks off at the ground tonight, I think it's fair to say they did us proud and showed us what we're capable of, and how we should have been performing all season, and at long bloody last, made the risk of frost-bite a worthy risk to take to watch them.

Thinking? That's a dangerous thing to do :p

And also, we're not having no Boro cast offs unless they're players so bugger off, you :p

Definitely. Who gets Man of the Match for you? It's difficult to decide for me. A few players especially stand out but they were all fantastic tonight.

Sounds like it was a pretty good game tonight, poolie. And another win! I said before that you could get close to the play-offs, well you're six points off now and going strong. Come on!

It's mad that only three games ago, we were crapping it, thinking about trying not to burn our arse on the fire of relegation and now we're like "We can get to the play offs." The league this season is just TOO tight to distinguish the great teams from the ok teams, and the ok teams from the poor teams, excluding Port Vale cos we know they're terrible :p
