So there are only 9 games left in the premiership for the bottom clubs bar Bolton who have 10 games left. The clubs who have a chance of going down are:
12. Middlesbrough (30 pts)
13. Wigan (28)
14. Reading (28)
15. Newcastle (28)
16. Sunderland (27)
17. Birmingham (26)
===========================
18. Bolton (25)
19, Fulham (20)
20. Derby (10)<!--more-->
The total points that anyone can get from the games that are left are 27 if they win the last nine in a row, which is highly unlikely. The teams who I think will be going down are, Derby, they are stuck tot he bottom, Fulham who are 26 points from safety. Them two for me are definitely going down. But the other 7 all have it to fight out and its going to be a long run in, a long and nervous 9 games (10 for Bolton).
So the run-ins for each team!!
Middlesbrough have one of the hardest run ins:
Arsenal v Middlesbrough, 17:15 (LOSE)
Middlesbrough v Derby, 15:00 (WIN)
Chelsea v Middlesbrough, 20:00 (LOSE)
Middlesbrough v Man Utd, 13:30 (LOSE)
Tottenham v Middlesbrough, 15:00 (DRAW)
Middlesbrough v Bolton, 15:00 (WIN)
Sunderland v Middlesbrough, 15:00 (WIN)
Middlesbrough v Portsmouth, 15:00 (LOSE)
Middlesbrough v Man City, 15:00 (DRAW)
After our good performance yesterday against Villa, I have changed the results. We have a hard run in but a few "easy" games that should save us from relegation. So we should finish on 41 Points which to be will be more than enough.
===========================
Wigans run in, which is another very hard run in.
Wigan v Bolton, 15:00 (DRAW)
Blackburn v Wigan, 15:00 (LOSE)
Portsmouth v Wigan, 15:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Birmingham, 15:00 (WIN)
Chelsea v Wigan, 20:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Tottenham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Reading, 15:00 (WIN)
Aston Villa v Wigan, 15:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Man Utd, 15:00 (LOSE)
I can only see Wigan getting 7 points on which will put them on to 35 which should be enough to keep them in the league.
===========================
Readings run in till the end of the season:
Liverpool v Reading, 15:00 (LOSE)
Reading v Birmingham, 15:00 (DRAW)
Reading v Blackburn, 15:00 (LOSE)
Newcastle v Reading, 15:00 (DRAW)
Reading v Fulham, 15:00 (WIN)
Arsenal v Reading, 15:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Reading, 15:00 (LOSE)
Reading v Tottenham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Reading, 15:00 (WIN)
8 Points is what Wigan will end up getting in my eyes which will put them on
===========================
Newcastles remaining 9 games:
Birmingham v Newcastle, 20:00 (DRAW)
Newcastle v Fulham, 15:00 (WIN)
Tottenham v Newcastle, 15:00 (LOSE)
Newcastle v Reading, 15:00 (DRAW)
Portsmouth v Newcastle, 15:00 LOSE)
Newcastle v Sunderland, 13:00 (WIN)
West Ham v Newcastle, 15:00 (LOSE)
Newcastle v Chelsea, 15:00 (LOSE)
Everton v Newcastle, 15:00 (LOSE)
Newcastle should be able to scrape 7 Points and save there premiership status!!
===========================
Sunderlands last 9 games of the season:
Sunderland v Chelsea, 15:00 (LOSE)
Aston Villa v Sunderland, 15:00 (LOSE)
Sunderland v West Ham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Fulham v Sunderland, 15:00 (WIN)
Sunderland v Man City, 15:00 (LOSE)
Newcastle v Sunderland, 13:00 (LOSE)
Sunderland v Middlesbrough, 15:00 (LOSE)
Bolton v Sunderland, 15:00 (DRAW)
Sunderland v Arsenal, 15:00 (LOSE)
Sunderland hace a pretty hard run in to be honest, the hardest one so far. Only 4 points is what they will probably come away with, will that be enough.
===========================
Birminghams run in:
Birmingham v Newcastle, 20:00 (DRAW)
Reading v Birmingham, 15:00 (DRAW)
Birmingham v Man City, 15:00 (LOSE)
Wigan v Birmingham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Birmingham v Everton, 15:00 (LOSE)
Aston Villa v Birmingham, 12:00 (LOSE)
Birmingham v Liverpool, 15:00 (LOSE)
Fulham v Birmingham, 15:00 (WIN)
Birmingham v Blackburn, 15:00 (LOSE)
5 Points, doesn't look nice will it be enough? Its going to be close!!!
===========================
Boltons remaining 9 games:
Wigan v Bolton, 15:00 (DRAW)
Man Utd v Bolton, 20:00 (LOSE)
Bolton v Man City, 15:00 (LOSE)
Bolton v Arsenal, 15:00 (LOSE)
Aston Villa v Bolton, 15:00 (DRAW)
Bolton v West Ham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Middlesbrough v Bolton, 15:00 (LOSE)
Tottenham v Bolton, 15:00 (LOSE)
Bolton v Sunderland, 15:00 (DRAW)
Chelsea v Bolton, 15:00 (LOSE)
Only 3 points!!!! Might be the end of the line for Bolton!!!
===========================
Fulhams run-in, there remaining 9 games:
Fulham v Everton, 13:30 (DRAW)
Newcastle v Fulham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Fulham, 15:00 (WIN)
Fulham v Sunderland, 15:00 (LOSE)
Reading v Fulham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Fulham v Liverpool, 15:00 (LOSE)
Man City v Fulham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Fulham v Birmingham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Portsmouth v Fulham, 15:00 (LOSE)
4 points, not good enough.
===========================
Derbys run in, they are down, but how many points will they get
Derby v Man Utd, 15:00 (LOSE)
Middlesbrough v Derby, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Fulham, 15:00 (LOSE)
Everton v Derby, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Aston Villa, 15:00 (LOSE)
West Ham v Derby, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Arsenal, 20:00 (LOSE)
Blackburn v Derby, 15:00 (LOSE)
Derby v Reading, 15:00 (LOSE)
Nil!!!! No points, thats what I think will happen.
===========================
So this is what I think the final tabel will look like:
Middlesbrough (41)
Reading (36)
Wigan (35)
Newcastle (35)
Birmingham (31)
Sunderland (31)
======================
Bolton (28)
Fulham (24)
Derby (10)
Obviously its just totally guess work but this is what I think "may" happen. I wouldn't put any bets on as anything can happen in football, even Derby might avoid relegation lol. Ok that was a bit far fetched, but whatever happens its going to be a very exciting and close encounter for all the teams involved in the relegation battle.
Have a good day
