Its Going To Be A Snowy Easter For The UK

Forecasters are warning of a little colst snap this weekend, starting on Thursday night as a low pressure system winds its way across the uk. Once it gets into the North sea it pulls in Arctic air right down the Eastern part of the uk. There are weather warnings out at the moment and I just hope the football matches are not cancelled to to frozen pitches or heavy snow.

Friday
There is a moderate risk of a severe event affecting Eastern Scotland and northeastern England. There is a potential for heavy snow with 5 to 10 cms possible over higher ground, and temporary accumulations of up to 2 cm at low-levels. The risk increases during the second part of the day as colder air spreads southwards.

Saturday
There is a moderate risk of a severe event affecting eastern Scotland and eastern parts of England. There is a potential for heavy snow with temporary accumulations of up to 2 cms possible at low levels, and accumulations of 5 to 10 cms possible over high ground, especially during the first half of the day.
