Dom Cassells is intent on making a valuable contribution in MFF Utd' surge towards silverware this season.
The Londoner, in his debut season in the first team, has made great strides in what is still a relatively nascent career. Vital goals against Tottenham, Burnley and, most recently, Cork City, have certainly proved his worth.
The majority of the striker’s appearances this term have been as a substitute. It’s a stat Cassells is keen on changing, but for now the 25-year-old is just happy to be of assistance.
“I think it’s good for me to be able to help the team in whatever way I can,” Cassells told the matchday programme. “You want to be able to make an impact when you come on, but it can be hard to affect the game sometimes. If you play on a regular basis you are more used to the team, you know everything.
“So obviously that is better, and that’s my target as well, to be a more regular starter.”
