This happened on the weekend between AC Milan v Roma.

First Pizzarro gets the ball ready and touches the ball with his foot, then changes the corner kick with Taddei, who doesn't cross the ball towards the penalty but runs straight for the goal.

Was this a dirty or clever trick?

It was clever enough. Why was play stopped?.

The linesman thought that he was just walking with the ball. Perfectly legal IMO

That happened the other week with some other teams, its legal, its allowed because he touches the ball.

Perfectly legal, Lino has to be on it though there.

However, if the Lino and Ref didn't see him touch it....then they cant play on.
