Mark Viduka has revealed he fears Newcastle 'doing a Leeds' and slipping out of the Premier League.
The Magpies striker was with Leeds when they were relegated from the top flight three years ago and he has contemplated suffering a similar fate with Newcastle during their recent winless streak.
Kevin Keegan's men slipped towards trouble after failing to win in 13 league games but their relegation fears were eased by a much-needed victory over Fulham on Saturday, with Viduka scoring the opening goal in the 2-0 win.
"There have been times when I thought it was going to be another Leeds," Viduka told the Daily Star.

I said when Keegan arrived that he would turn it round and that I couldn't see Newcastle getting relegated. Things aren't looking good now and they've got some tough games in their remaining fixtures.

If they do get dragged into the relegation fight, I bet Keegan walks out. :laugh

It's shocking that Newcastle's standards have just slipped this season. Though in saying that, all three teams from the North East in the Prem have done crap this season, has have Pools. There's only Darlo from the North East who've had any success... and even then they're in the bottom of fizzy pop leagues

Couple of reasons really, no-one to watch my daughter (and she'd rather have her finger nails pulled out one by one than go to a match) and I can't afford it.
