Early Team News!!
The Rangers quartet who withdrew from the Scotland squad for the 1-1 draw with Croatia at Hampden on Wednesday night are set to come in to contention for tomorrow's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
Some controversy surrounded the withdrawal of skipper Barry Ferguson (ankle), Lee McCulloch (thigh), Christian Dailly (broken toe) and Allan McGregor (knee) for George Burley's first game in charge of the national side.
However, all four will be given every chance to declare themselves fit for the crunch game against celtic.
Celtic midfielder Barry Robson should play after recovering from the minor knee injury which ruled him out of Scotland's friendly against Croatia.
Stephen McManus, Paul Hartley, Gary Caldwell and Scott Brown are all expected to be fit for the trip to Ibrox after coming through the match at Hampden relatively unscathed, and Scott McDonald will also feature after missing out on international duty with Australia through injury.
Bobo Balde is added to the squad to face Rangers after recovering from the injury he sustained at the African Nations Cup.
Teams:
Rangers (from): McGregor, Broadfoot, Cuellar, Weir, Papac, Dailly, Thomson, Davis, Ferguson, McCulloch, Whittaker, Darcheville, Novo, Alexander, Boyd, Burke, Naismith, Emslie, Furman.
Celtic (from): Boruc, Hinkel, Caldwell, McManus, Naylor, Nakamura, S Brown, Hartley, Robson, Sno, McGeady, McDonald, Samaras, Vennegoor of Hesselink, M Brown, Riordan, O'Dea, Killen, Balde.
All on god's chosen one's

GS is going for 4-4-2 again which doesn't fill me with confidence. I'll go 1-1 and any draw today would do me. Mon the Celts.

Kevin Thomson picked an opportune moment to score his first ever goal for Rangers as they went six points clear of Celtic at the top of the SPL.
Celtic settled first and Scott Brown squandered two superb chances when his control twice deserted him in the box.
On 44 minutes Thomson played a clever one-two with Jean-Claude Darcheville before tucking the ball under Artur Boruc to give the home side the lead.

Allan McGregor made a bit of history, becoming the first Rangers goalkeeper EVER to keep four consecutive clean sheets against Celtic. So well done to McGregor who has really turned into a great goalkeeper for the club.
