Nappy flasher on the loose in the north east

Quote:
POLICE are hunting a serial flasher who has exposed himself to young girls on Teesside while wearing a nappy.
At least three reports have been made to police about the man, who has struck in the Eaglescliffe, Yarm and Ingleby Barwick areas.
In each of the “unusual” incidents, the man - thought to be in his late teens or early twenties - is understood to have pulled down his trousers to reveal a nappy.
Now Cleveland Police have spoken with at least one school in the area and are appealing for help in tracing the man.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “We are investigating several incidents of this nature since the end of February.
“We are looking into the possibility that the incidents are linked. Investigations are ongoing.
“We are in the process of speaking to a number of witnesses.
“We would encourage young people to be on their guard and if anybody has seen anything suspicious to report it to Cleveland Police.”
On Thursday, pupils at All Saints Secondary School in Ingleby Barwick were issued with a warning by staff regarding the incidents, one of which is believed to have taken place on a nearby cycle track.
The police spokeswoman said: “Police have liaised with the school in relation to the matter.
“There is absolutely no indication that he has done anything further than exposed his undergarments. It’s an unusual incident and we are obviously keen to trace this man as soon as possible.”
The man struck in Eaglescliffe at the end of February, in Yarm in early March and in Ingleby Barwick on March 5. Police are also investigating a report received on Wednesday of an incident in Ingleby Barwick, which may or may not be the same March 5 incident.
A concerned parent told the Gazette: “It’s quite shocking.
“You hope your kids are going to be safe on the cycle paths around here, but you’ve got to be concerned when you hear of things like this. It’s good that the school told the children, because they need to be aware.”
The suspect being sought by police is aged between 18 and his early twenties, of slim build, with blond to gingery hair, which is quite long and over his ears.
Anyone who has seen anything suspicious or anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call Cleveland Police on 01642 326326.

Police have just arrested a young man wearing a nappy. After questioning him, a police spokesman said he was full of $hit.
