Yes but the problem is if we let his contract run out he leaves for nothing.

More a question of would he want to. And I don't think he would because he's not a greedy **** (i'l believe stuff about him wanting a pay rise when i see it in a proper paper) and he only needs 11 more caps to join the 100 club, which he wouldn't get if he's playing in the championship.
