No it wouldn't. It says the tens digit is five more than the units digit. Yours is eight more.

no it's not it says mt 10's digit is 5 more than my units digit.

4 ( Difference ) 9 = 5

It then says my hundreds digit, is 8 less than my 10's digit

9 ( difference ) 1 = 8

please bow down

My tens digit is five more than my ones digit.
HTU
491

Here the tens is eight more than the ones (or units) digit.

My hundreds digit is eight less than my tens digit.
HTU
491

Four is not eight less than 9.

You're wrong.

Ah, that would make sense.

Though I have to say your way is quite weird as if I said to you I have £149, I would mean I have one hundred and forty nine pounds, not nine hundred and forty one. See, people like you are the reason for having to write the number out in words on a cheque! :laugh
