A win being vital to Celtic to keep their SPL title hopes alive.
Rangers currently sit 4 points clear at the top with 2 games in hand.
Strachans Celtic have yet to score against Rangers since Walter Smith's return 16 months ago. Rangers winning all 4 old firm games since then.

We have to win this one to have any chance of winning the league, but im not sure because of strachans tactical weaknesses compared to walter smith. I can see us sneaking it maybe 1-0.

Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley has been passed fit for the Old Firm derby, while Scott Brown serves the second of a three-match suspension.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Scott McDonald continue to be preferred to Georgios Samaras up front.
Rangers manager Walter Smith has no fresh injury worries.
Kevin Thomson is missing through suspension. Charlie Adam (knee) and DaMarcus Beasley (knee ligament) both remain on the sidelines.

I saw it on Setanta. The coin was a yard away. It doesn't excuse it. It shouldn't happen. But it's always interesting the things the press pick up and the things they don't. Like the damaged seats in the Rangers end. That only happens when minty moans about Celtic fans doing it at Ibrox.
