Though a game of relatively few chances, the visitors most certainly had the better of them, most falling to Artetas Gem.
He really should have put MFF United ahead in the tenth minute, but directed his header from a great run and cross from I_AM_CANADIAN! over the bar.
With MFF United posing most of their threat down the right, it was ironic that the opening goal came from the opposite flank five minutes from the interval.
A fantastic run by gbnine as he left three of four defenders in his wake saw him feed I_AM_CANADIAN! and from his cross Domcassells got in front of Langfield to head home.
However, that lead was short-lived, just two minutes in fact, when Nicky Clark drilled home a Steve Lovell knockdown from 25 yards.
Whilst Aberdeen rarely threatened thereafter, Artetas Gem twice came close to earning MFF United the win.
First, he missed an open goal from 35-yards after cleverly robbing Langfield as the keeper dribbled forward outside his box.
Two minutes from the end, Histon screwed a Domcassells knockdown past far post.
