Manchester United FC return to the Camp Nou for the first time since their 1999 UEFA Champions League triumph hoping this latest visit will serve as a stepping stone to another final appearance.
It will be an interesting match up, to say the least. Man Utd don't see to have any of their main core squad injured. Meanwhile Barca, have Henry and Iniesta sidelined, Ronaldinho's fitness under question but they have had a boost with Deco returning to traning
vbookie and match discussion here.
What a game. Can't wait for this one and can't wait for the Liverpool v Man Utd final. Enough said?
cant wait for this one, i sense this will be a special night. we have the quality, barcas defending i've heard was terrible against Schalke so Ronaldo, Rooney & tevez can exploit that. The pitch is also very big meaning Scholes & Carrick can find some good passes. I think we can snatch an away goal, maybe a win. 0-1 United :D

its a must win game all on united
yeah i have 20k on us. Puyol suspended, Messi only just back from injury, Ronaldinho out, Henry missed training from illness, Thurham...Edmilson and Marquez have also missed training/or are doubts.
We have a full-strength squad with Fletcher back

I don't think they'll cope with Man Yoos pace and all round ability on the park.
Well they have Deco back but like messi he probably wont be match sharp. Cant wait for 7.45! excited already :D
I cant see utd winning here but will do over 2 legs.

team news:
Barcelona star Thierry Henry has recovered from illness and could start alongside Lionel Messi and Deco in the Champions League semi-final, first leg.
Ronaldinho is injured and skipper Carlos Puyol is banned, so Rafael Marquez is set to play in defence.
Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, who has just returned following a knee injury, is doubtful after a stomach complaint late on Tuesday.
Wes Brown picked up a minor knock at the weekend but trained on Tuesday.
Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, striker Wayne Rooney, and midfielders Owen Hargreaves and Anderson are all fit.

that second penalty claim was a pen, the ref is well dodgy, given us some decions he shouldnt have and given them loads, quite and exciting game, it does need a goal soon

I don't think it needs a goal. I think its a pretty good game so far. Barca look really good sometimes going forward and Man Utd are defending well. Good game.

bet settled.
a scoreless draw. had ronaldo gotten that penalty in, this game would have been completely different.
Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez were anonymous. Good result mind although it should of been better. We should win this at home now, preferably with players IN POSITION.

Look forward to next week becuse both games are on a knife edge. One goal from any of the teams could settle either game home or away.
Its wide open

i know, it was a big miss for him, i think he should have had a second pen, but never mind, these things happen, lets get home and hopefully win

Lets hope for two english teams in the final.
but your lot got work to do fingers crossed for next week for both of us.:thup
Not the game I thought is was going to be. Barca played better than I expected. Good result for Utd. They should go through now and play Livepool in the final

I'm confident cos we're going to be a completely different team in the 2nd leg. With the crowd behind us and we'll certainly be playing more attacking football. Hopefully Vidic will be back although we did a very good job tonight

I really thought it would be a different game tonight. Attacking ene to end stuff. Perhaps it will be like that at Old Trafford, we'll have to see.

yeah so was i. personally i felt we were intimidated by the crowd and let them get to our play.
