I've made a "new season resolution" for myself. Well two actually,

The first one is to go to nearly every/every away game next season

but the second one is to take a flag to every game I go to.

I've decided to make a flag, but i dont know how to design it or what to put on it.

Got any ideas? Help me.

If it were me, I'd get a decent sized flag from the Middlesbrough shop outside the ground or look on ebay for one that you're happy with. Failing that, you could always cut up an old sheet to the size you want and paint the words on or even get the fabric and take it to a printing shop and ask them to print on the Middlesbrough badge and whatever. You could have whatever size you want depending on your budget.
