Just thought I mention it in case anyone didn't know - It starts next week, Seies 5 - let's hope they can mantain the remarkably high standard.

I see it won the Best Comedy at the BAFTAs the other day - nice to see the critics have caught up since Gervais had his rant at the Comedy Awards about it being shamefully unrecognised.

But yes I'm aware that humourless thickos don't like it - but that's their problem.

i love the peep show, the writing is brilliant, and coupled with Gervais and the excellent Gavin and Stacey, it knocks the socks off anything the yanks come up with save for friends.

obviously, it's also stood the test of time, always with original stories, and not seeming old.

I was disappointed by last night's episode - but yet not too surprised that so many people thought it one of (if not the) best ever.

It was quite a funny episode, but I did prefer the first episode of the 5th series more.

Channel 4, Fridays at 10:30pm. If you want to catch up with the series I suggest downloading 4oD
