View Full Version : Sheffield Utd vs Arsenal
After the the 3-0 win at The Emirates, Sheffield Utd are waiting for a re-match. They've lifted themselves up from the relegation zone, only just, they look to keep their heads up high to keep clear of it. Loosing there previous 2 games to Man City and Portsmouth, there looking for points and what better location to gain them, at home.
Arsenal are fighting to revive their players of injury, with a number of key players injured, it makes the challenge more intense for Wenger and his squad. They look set for a tough ride at Bramall Lane but go to bring back all 3 points.
Match kick off: 17:15 on Sky Sports 1

It should be a good match as they played really well against City, didmt really deserve to lose. They will finght for the points anyway Sheffield will.
Were in for a tough game here, I read the Arsenal site earlier and were hit with 4 more injuries! thats 8 first squad players out! and some of the players who will start tomorrow have colds. It will be nice to get a win out of this but i'm not expecting it.

I heard adebayor will not play and ı expect a boring draw match.only v.Persie will make a difference
If he's out who will play up front? Walcott and v.persie?
Should be a good game, Sheffield ut'd fans will be behind them all day and that might be a deciding factor. Shock 1-1 for Utd
Baptista will be starting for a backing support with v. Persie I should think.

Yeah it said before baptista will startr for the gunners. I still think that Arsenal will manage a win. I think Sheffield are good but not that good. They also are missing a view first team players who have been hit with a virus.
1-0 Sheffield Utd at half time :)

what were the Arsenal players thinking??? Not once did they test Jagielka, not one long range shot. The first thing you do when a sub keeper comes in, warmed up or not is to take shots at him.
Anyway, good grit and hard fought win by Sheffield. Kudos to them.
I didn't expect a win, it would have come as a surprise if we did take home all 3 points but with over half the team out, what can you expect.
I thought Sheffield fought well, they kept the ball in our half most of the time and didn't give us any chance to have a pop at goal. Arsenal couldn't get into a flow of passing, definitely a big effect without some key players on the field.
It moves us out the top 3 and clears the Blades 5 points clear from relegation.

I didn't expect a win.
I sure as hell did! To loose 1-0 to the Blades with a freakin defender in net is nothing short of disgraceful! Good god, and after the great form of late it comes as a extra shock to me.
At least Man U won and the scum drew, so they drop even further back lol. That's the only highlite of this entire weekend. What crap :(

It was a good game for the blades point of view. Jagielka was on fine form. Once Nade had the goal they hung on. Both sides had injuries and illnesses though so you cant really blmae that. It was just a bad day at the office. A bit like the one you had at Eastlands.

The win is always wanted but on that match I knew we wouldn't get it, away to Sheffield Utd with 8 key players out was a tough challenge for the team, just a shame we lost.
Also, with the likes of v. Persie and Fabregas you would think they'd had whipped some shots at the sub-keeper, that was a downer. Wenger probably told them to play 2 touch football but all I saw was flying balls destine to Sheffield Utd players.
