Hello everyone. I registered a few months back and lost the link, but found something in my email saying you missed me. How thoughtful! Anyway, thought I'd drop in and say hi. Jonesy, the New England Revolution is a club in Major League Soccer. They've actually been to the championship game the past three season, but sadly lost all three. Hopefully they can get over the hump this year! Clint Dempsey played for the Revs. Their manager is Steve Nicol, the former Liverpool player.

BTW, I love the name Pontypridd. Where in Wales is that located? It sounds like a lovely place.

Anyway, thanks to all for the welcome. I'll drop in from time to time, so I'll see you all around.

Not in person, but I've seen him play on TV. He's doing pretty well since he's finally been healthy. He and Landon Donovan seem to be pairing up very well. The Galaxy's defense is still a little shaky though.

Its in South welsh valleys, home town of singer Tom Jones. It is quite nice. When does your season start and end then?

Ah, okay. I knew Tom Jones was from somewhere around there. You wouldn't be too far from Cardiff then, right? I'd love to visit that part of Wales someday. I always thought it would be fun to take a train from London to Cardiff and Swansea. Hopefully one of these days I'll get around to it and add a side trip to Pontypridd.

The MLS season runs from the end of March until the end of October. This year each team plays a 30-match schedule. That may increase a bit because the league is expanding. They're adding a team in Seattle next year and in Philadelphia in 2010. Then they have a championship playoff in November.
