Yes my brother and he got the top of the range one, "so he says" the games are QUALITY on his 45" HD TV. Also he just bought a HD DVD player which cost £120. He's got a steering wheel (Force Fedback) and pedals for project gotham. Oh its an amazing system.
Oh its Surround sound also. :)

Sounds good. I only have a 32" non HD but it's still the bomb. I love it

i know, but i got the ps2 when it came out and there was £299 nov 2000, so £500 or whatever now aint that bad

Someone told me that they will perform the same, the Xbox has a better graphics card but the PS3 has more RAM. I dunno if its true as i've not seen the specs.
I've seen a video which compares the graphics between the Wii, PS3 and the 360. The Xbox 360 came out the best graphics wise..
I'm going to get a 360 soon, planning on buying a new HDTV first.

the ps3 does 1080p which is a better on screen resolution than 1080i, 1080p is true HD, also the graphics processor is 10% faster on the ps3, the memory speed on the ps3 is unbelivebly fast

the thing with xbox360 at the moe the big games are out, with the playstation 2 it took a year before the graphics got good, the ps3 in a years time (because it is firmware upgradeable) willl be alot better

We will just have to wait and see. The specs look a lot better than the xbox but I think the xbox is great.

i didnt like the controller, and i have given mircosoft enough money over the last few years, i got my xbox360 for free thats why i had one
The money side of things is the doubt for the PS3, when people come to terms that what there paying for is a good machine, however the games are ridiculously expensive.
The Xbox 360 simply, will be an over all top console, you can't beat its online community and with great games keeping people occupied for the time being, its got a lot of support.
They've still yet to release Halo 3 which everyone is waiting for, I'm guessing they will release it around the same time Sony release the Playstation 3 world wide.
I'll eventually get a PS3, give it about a year after the release and there will be some good deals around.

I've never like Sony, They are popular due to the games they have to play. Graphically they are crap compared to Nintendo and at the moment the 360.

This christmas my friend got a WII and so me and some other people went over had some fun with that for about 6 hours but then the next morning I woke up and could barely raise my arms. Its a real work out that WII is

There's no reason at all to buy a PS3 right now. It really isn't that great and the games for both the PS3 & the X0Box 360 don't look different. PS3 is not worth it for the price. Over here it's 600-700$. I'm not going to pay that for a system and becuase it uses blu-ray everything is expensive. You can also modify your X-Box, unsure about the PS3. The difference is if you're unsure, the PS2 is still getting support for at least the next year while the X-Box is dead. This is what it basically will come down to. If you like RPG games, buy a PS3. If you're more into childish/series games get a Wiii. The X-BoX has a decent variety. It will come down to what you want. I rarely play my ps2, i usually play the x -box. I on a 360, just got one, but haven't really played it since all my saved stuff is on the old x-box and i don't want to start over.

if you have a HDTV, go for the PS3 true HD graphics and a BlueRay HD player, a blue dvd playet at the moe is about a grand which makes the ps3 seem cheap

I'll explain it all - see if anyone knows how to fix it... Doubt it though
It works most time I put it on, but it will sometimes only last up to 5 minutes. The screen just freezes and the picture turns into a weird pattern all over the screen.

I used to have it flat, but I was advised not too, so I changed it to facing upwards, and no difference whatsoever.
