Dagenham & Redbridge top the Conference on goal difference after they beat Halifax, whilst previous leaders Oxford could only draw against Crawley Town.

Craig Mackail-Smith's goal ten minutes from time was enough to lift Dagenham to the summit, with Oxford and Crawley playing out a surprise 1-1 stalemate.

It could have been even worse for Jim Smith's side had Robert Duffy not struck a late leveller, after Crawley had taken a lead on the stroke of half-time through Anthony Scully.

Nigel Clough's Burton continue to make strides as Daryl Clare's last minute penalty saw them complete a late comeback in coming from behind to beat Cambridge United on their travels.

Earlier in the contest and Michael Gash had delighted the home crowd with an opener, only for Andy Duncan to put through his own own goal, and then Clare to dispatch from 12 yards.

John Nurse proved to be Stevenage's matchwinner at Weymouth, while Morecambe were also victorious at Tamworth as Wayne Curtis scored the only goal in the 64th minute.

Gravesend's Omome Sodje scored the only goal as he secured his side three points against Rushden & Diamonds, with Luke Reynolds' strike at Southport enough to give Kidderminster a welcome three points.

Exeter had a late Dean Moxey goal to thank for their win at St Albans, who had earlier drawn level when Matthew Hann cancelled out Wayne Carlisle's opener.

Val Owen's 88th minute goal gave Altrincham a 2-2 home draw against Forest Green, who had earlier led as goals from Chris Giles and Tony Butler sandwiched an effort from Altrincham's Lewis Chalmers.

Stafford Rangers' game with Northwich (at the time 1-1) was abandoned due to inclement weather conditions, as was Aldershot's clash with Grays Athletic (0-0).
