Good achievement for Ronaldo, he deserves it. been phenomanal through the whole year.

I can't say I agree with him winning a sportsman award considering all the diving he did last season, in the world cup (disgraceful and obvious as well) and how he's picked up the habit this year as well.

I won't deny he's a great talent, but any awards he wins will always be overshadowed by the fact he's a diving prick.

if they decided on the world cup, who would of won. All of them were diving. Why has Nuno Gomes come 2nd, I didn't see him in germany or for club. Deco or Pauleta should of come 2nd.

To be fair I can't stand him but if you look at the situation he was in during the world cup it shows how much he's improved in terms of staying on his feet. Ok he might have gone down slightly too easily against Boro, but compared to the WC it's negligible and he's probably the best player in the premiership right now.

True, I must say that the diving has cut down over the last few weeeks. However the continuing arrogance about him hasn't, and I'm not sure at the him recieving this award.

I do enjoy how one dive by Ronaldo is exagerated beyond existence. Every player dives.

It is probably due to the world cup with the rooney incident and the. Even though no one dived during that incident and Rooney deserved to be sent off. People were watching Ronaldo all the time and very closely, waiting for him to dive as people know he dives.

Soon as he dived people were on his back. But the thing is, he's a world class player, playing in a world class team. There is no need to dive and he does it so blatantly.
