The Times is reporting a rumour that Fulham are inquiring with Middlesborough about Luke Young. The deal would potentially be a swap between Jimmy Bullard for Young.

Is it me? or if this deal goes through, are Boro getting the better deal?

Bullard is top class, a real battler with a touch of class too, although they play in different positions, Boro would be better off IMO

Luke Young was probably our best player last season after Downing. There will be no truth in that at all. Southgate being a defender will know how valuable Young is and I can't see him letting him go at all. I'm pretty sure Young said in an interview earlier this year that he loves being here and would love to finish his career off at the Boro.

I've watched Luke Young mature and improve tremendously over the years since he left Tottenham. But like Dom says, they play in different positions. Southgate was shrewd enough to buy him and I can't see him letting Young go.

asd much as i like jimmy bullard id rather keep luke young. he should of got player of the season last season he was immense. always played top class

yes he was. hes one of those players who always does his job to the top of his ability and doesn't really get the praise that he deserves. when he signed i thought he would be crap, but he has been excellent. very rarely makes mistakes and a goos tackler of the ball.
