Just thought of this a second ago after I saw my own post somewhere lol. Would you like it if we were in the Uefa Cup knockout stages if we were knocked out of Champions league group stages. If we were there would be a better chance of winning a European tournament and hammering the shitty teams in Europe from Latvia, San Marino, Greece etc.
There would be disadvantages though:
The CL is the best cup in the world imo. We would lose alot of revenue from progressing. We would have to play all our league games on a Sunday.
Just a hypothetical question because I saw kiko mention it on the old MFF.

I prefer UEFA Cup, but it depends how big your team is. Although we are quite a big team we are getting enough money to fund more things.
Whereas Man Utd would be earning nothing in the UEFA Cup compared to most teams. And don't forget that San Marino do have good teams...
This is in a non-Man Utd retrospective
Getting to the CL quater finals is worth about £20m I think. We need all the money we can get with the massive debts and will need to build a stronger squad with the cash.

Trips to places like San Marino won't bring in as many star players as trips to the Nou Camp.

Every player in San Marino are part timers. So I don't think you would find anyone good.
Well really the CL is the place to be. The sad thing is we'll get dicked on by whoever we play next round because of Saffy and his european tinkering.
All I'm interested in is a good trip seeing as realistically we're going to do nowt in Europe.

as long as chelsea/arsneal/liverpool dont wint the CL im not bothered about a european cup, just as long as we win the EPL, thats all i want this season,
Why do you hate all other English clubs? Is that what living in Wales does or something?
Well I'm the same. I hope each and every one of them enjoys a humilating defeat.
