Hey,

I know i'm new and so i hope this is in the right place and everything.

I thought that since you do have an off topic section perhaps you should put alittle more in it.

I thought that an advice section or something of that sort would be helpful to all members. I thought that this way it would bring in more members because it would apeal to more people as well as keep your old members.

Many boards offer help and advice sections and they are very popular. If you don'y offer one and say someone from you forum decides that they need help and they are going to ask online. They will search for a forum that offers it.. and that could in turn take away from your forum.

I only said the above and suggested this in general because I have had lots of experience with these boards and i have also helped a few boards that have either just started out or have had to restart work their way up.

I have been an MOD on a few sites including being a super and global MOD and have done lots of site advertising on my own for the sites that i have helped out with.

Anyways I am rambling on.. i just thought it was a good idea and deffinatly something to consider.

Is it me? or am I the only one that hasn't been an admin or MOD elsewhere?. Everybody seems to have had that experience....

Anyway, an advice forum sounds like a good idea!

what normally happens is, if some one needs advice they start a thread in the pub, there was an advice thread , the kind of problems people have on here are like, theres no beer in the fridge, the misses has gone on strike, were gettin relegated, theres no food, i got a mad hangover, im coming out of the closet (we not had that one yet were just waiting for craig to start it), you get the idea

yeah i figured that, thats why i thought it was a good idea. Not only are they simple problems to solve.. it will also bring in more members. People that will use it. But i see what you mean.

Yeh every forum has a entertainment section for it and its handy to have because most discussions are made around that sort of stuff anyway.

I liked the old entertainment section, proved very popular. I think we need to put more effort into getting football posts first rather than in The Pub. We need a Babes forum too :o

I'll add forums which prove a popular suggestion, I'd let Simon do it but there'd be no site left. :)
