After Arsenal thrashing Liverpool 1-3 at Anfield, can they do it again? It should be a great match to watch as was the last one. I will be going for another Arsenal Win, lets hope it doesn't get called off again.

Liverpool 2 - 3 Arsenal

Is 3-1 a thrashing these days?

I think Liverpool will be up for this more than Arsenal, who will be concentrating on the FA Cup and league (Getting top 4), whilst liverpool will be hoping to finish a season with at least some silverware.

Liverpool 2 Arsenal 1

I honestly don't think they will beat Arsenal tonight. They are not good enough to beat an inform Arsenal. Aresenal are currently playing some of the best football in the Premiership and thats why I like them, they are great to watch and Henry is amazing. Wenger has/is doing a fantastic job with them at the moment.

pft, I only want them to win so we can beat them in the semi final, like a certain time before hand :nodyes:

And Ars*holes could mean either team so I'll state properly. Arsenal.

Ronaldo: I don't think either of them will because Liverpool will want to get back at them and Arsenal won't want them to win.

it will be another Arsenal win. 2-0 my prediction

looks like first substitution is for Liverpool due to injury.
Mark Gonzalez replaced by Sanz Luis Garcia (serious injury, oxygen mask and everything)

Arsenal have always played the best football in the premiership though, the reason they don't always win is because it's not effective enough

Ronaldo

has to be really bad for an oxygen mask, what sort of tackle/landing etc was it?

They replayed it wasn't bad at all, it wasn't even a tackle. But he was in real pain, left in a stretcher with his right leg bound, so I can only assume either knee or leg brake.
Now the mask could have been to help him calm down.

edit: watching a stream, chinesse announcers so I can only go by the images. :P

Wrong thread but it doesn't merit a new thread: Sodje just scored his first goal for Reading. Thanks for the £250k. Obviously worth it, played once and let, of all people, Emile Heskey score!!!

that's good for my fantasy league team even though he's already let in 8 this week. Apart from the penalty, all arsenal's shots on target have been goals, much like in the fa cup.

Thought it was a good game, first impressions (before the match) was that Liverpool would give us a battle and not humiliate themselves by another loss in the space of 4 days, ironically Arsenal toppled them again!

It was a good match from an Arsenal point of view, especially for Aliadiere, he had a brilliant game and the way he played should reflect his future with the club because hes got it in him to become a great player. We fielded a young team and they still managed to beat Liverpool, I was shocked at how bad Liverpool played, with 4-5 experienced players on the pitch it didn't apply to any performance except a shite one.

However, it was a game of experience for the youngsters and i'm sure they'll learn a lot from that game.

boro_boy
10-01-2007, 17:40
Yes, a good result for Arsenal, they are obviously a different class compared to Liverpool. I said they would win but i said 2-3 to Arsenal not 3-6 lol. Didn't see this as we haven't got sky and i couldn't be bothered going out.

Nice one Arsenal.

I saw the high lites from both games and Baptista was simply awesome in the second game. This should be a huge boost to his, and the youngsters confidence. To topple Liverpoo twice, and to put 6 by them the second time is a great feat to achieve with a team of mostly kids.:thumbup1:
