Mourinho bust-up?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ea/6251033.stm

I hope that is true and not just some bs story.
Chelsea would be hardly anywhere without Moronhio. I also like the part about Terry yes:

Just shows that money doesn't buy you everything. Chelsea have obviously got an arrogant manager. If he was to leave, then I don't think the application list would be to short!

Well at least he'll learn that he won't get what he wants all the time and now hes just crying about it because Roman won't supply him the cash, which is fair enough. Every club has its bad spot where theres injuries but they get on with the situation and plow through it, either Chelsea have no strength behind the shining 1st 11 or Mourinho can't manage a side with a problem.

Life goes on!

Well you could see on wednesday just how thin on the ground the defence is, having to play Essien and Ferreira in there. But i'm sure if we were that desperate we could get a youth player in, no need to buy but i can see why he's frustrated. The board will give him money willy nilly when he's not desperate for it but now the defence is falling apart they won't provide him.

It doesn't really show that - he is struggling because he doesn't have enough money. Why the board doesn't give him more money when the one time they actually need to strenghten the squad is beyond me though

This is a post I saw from HL.

Quote:
Mourinho's £100m flops

JOSE MOURINHO has wasted more than £100million on flops since becoming Chelsea boss in 2004. The Special One has splashed out close to £200m — but less than half of that whopping amount has paid off.

Didier Drogba (£24m), Michael Essien (£24.4m), Ashley Cole (£5m), Ricardo Carvalho (£19.85m) and Arjen Robben (£12m) are hits — but what about £30m disaster Andriy Shevchenko or £21m Shaun Wright-Phillips?

Here, SunSport’s GARY PAYNE takes a look at some of Mourinho’s biggest transfer blunders at the Bridge ...

PAULO FERREIRA (COST: £13.2m)

FLOP ... Ferreira
FLOP ... Ferreira

MOURINHO’S first signing as Chelsea manager. Won the Champions League with Porto but has struggled to hold down a regular place this season despite being the club’s only real right-back.

MATEJA KEZMAN (£5m)

FLOP ... Kezman
FLOP ... Kezman

BOASTED a great goalscoring record at PSV but had one very disappointing season at Stamford Bridge — a goal in the Carling Cup final aside — before being sold to Atletico Madrid.

TIAGO (£10m)

FLOP ... Tiago
FLOP ... Tiago

A GOOD midfielder who signed from Benfica in 2004 but could not settle because of Mourinho’s squad rotation. Was sold to Lyon for a loss of £3.5m.

JIRI JAROSIK (£5m)
A BIG failure. Signed from CSKA Moscow for around £5m and sold to Celtic 18 months later for £2m. The midfielder spent a year of his time on loan at Birmingham — who were relegated.

ASIER DEL HORNO (£8m)
CAME from Athletic Bilbao but was injury-prone and could not settle. Joined Valencia for £4.8m last summer.

SHAUN WRIGHT-PHILLIPS (£21m)

FLOP ... Shaun Wright-Phillips
FLOP ... Shaun Wright-Phillips

HAS seen his reputation plummet since his big-money move from Manchester City. Has not been able to hold down a first-team berth and it cost him a place at the World Cup. Likely to leave.

MICHAEL BALLACK (Free)

FLOP ... Ballack
FLOP ... Ballack

ONE of the world’s greatest midfielders but has not been a huge success so far. Big wages but at least there was no fee.

ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO (£30m)

FLOP ... Shevchenko
FLOP ... Shevchenko

CHELSEA’S record signing from Milan was supposed to be the man to propel them to European success. Has underwhelmed and may not be suited to the frenetic pace of the Premiership.

JOHN OBI MIKEL (£12m)
ONLY 19 but so far has not lived up to his wonderkid reputation following his controversial move from Lyn Oslo via Manchester United.

KHALID BOULAHROUZ (£8.5m)
THE CANNIBAL has been more like a sacrificial lamb since joining from Hamburg. The defender has been swiftly dropped by Mourinho following a few high-profile blunders.
I never realised until i saw a big list of them. Don't forget Carvalho for £20m : (apparently he's a hit though?)

There are alot of flops and i would agree with every single one of them, although Smertin was forgotten! However, Carvalho has no way been a flop, him and JT have formed a decent enough partnership and he's even been getting in on the goals recently.

Chelsea would become the next Newcastle if they lose him. He is an excellent manager, there is no one out there who could replace him and do a better job, as others have said most of their big players would leave if Mourinho left.

Depends which club he goes to, unless he is sacked whoever takes him on will have to pay a large compansation package due to the wages he's already on. And then after that the fact the players' fees would be huge, well alot bigger than any mid table team could afford.
