here's mine:

i've been ill since new years.
i think i've had every little virus you can get excluding anything to do with shit. for some reason i never get anything like that.

it's come to light that one of my 'friends' purposely got another friends boyfriend drunk so she could proper take advantage.
she then spread a rumour saying how hed done it to her.
needless to say my mates a bit gutted as shes been with him a few years.
i dont believe its his fault, but hey.

the stuff on my course had to be handed in today. thanks to my being ill i havn't been in all week. if i fail these assignments i fail my course and there's no arguing it.
this could effect my chances on my chosen career.
it hopefully wont as i dont actually need it, but being forced out of college doesn't exactly look good on the cv.
hopefully my lecturer isnt a **** to me and will understand i've been ill.

the biggest thing of all?

weymouth fc are officially fucked.

weymouths manager and coach have been sacked or left on mutual grounds.
all of weymouths players have been put on the transfer list.
the lads to be used will be drafted from within 50 miles of the club.
we are not in debt, everything was stopped just before it got there.
the thing that hit me the most? i will NEVER see those players play together again. chances are i wont see any of them play at all.

Can you not fill in a form explaining the reason for your coursework being late?

I know you can at Unis, and I would have thought it'd be the same in an FE College.

I wouldn't let it get you down about your career anyway, I think that'll just depend on you passing your RT and RE tests at the AFCO won't it?

i know i dont need qualifications for what im applying for.

and there's no form...i just have to beg my arse off.

The college will only get all the funding for you if you pass the course, so they'll probably only fail you as a last resort.

they'll take me off the course and basicly i'll work for as many units as i can to show i have knowledge of those units. (i. health and safety, the body in action, ethics and values..)

if i end up on that i'd probably quit and get a job whilst waiting for the process for the navy.

its all at the back of my head at the moment.

As for Weymouth, must be completely gutting, I know I would be if it happened to Everton. But at least if you aren't in debt you'll have every chance of bouncing back.

Ok here's mine

I have shit loads of exams in January which I spent about a week sitting at a desk trying to revise but couldn't concentrate so have done minimal revision and am going to fail

My football team has won once since September 4th last year. They are in deep financial shit, are going to get relegated and will probably not be in existance in a few years time_smile:

But at least today I'm happy!

Ron Noades brought the club, seeing it was one of the few clear of debt a few years back took over the club, then deliberately ran the club at a loss, buying players we couldn't afford so he didn't have to pay as much tax, although he won the old third division, he left the club in a huge debt to him. He still owns Griffin Park and keeps threatening to turn it into flats as we can't pay him back.

Almost to the day last year Greg Dyke became chairman and we became a fans run club, sadly Dyke hasn't put his hand in his pocket (he gets criticised for not doing this but there's no reason why he should) and I don't actually know what he does at the club. We recently appointed Keith Dickens who is a managing director and was responsible for the contraversial appointment of our then caretaker boss Scott Fitzgeral after he got 1 point out of 12. The truth was no-one else wanted the job and we didn't have money to pay people. Still he (Dickens) is a nice bloke and seems to be fairly down to earth, sat next to him on the train coming back from Carlisle at christmas.

To be honest that's my reading of the situation. I don't know a great deal about the off the pitch stuff, it's too complicated. Learning the British and American political system is hard enough for me...

I remember hearing about Ron Noades now you mention him, what a c**t. He was involved at Palace before wasn't he?

Fingers crossed that the club can be turned around anyway.
