Where do you stand I just think it's been over hyped although I didn't like the way he had to be in the limelight against spurs when he wasn't playing

This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. Henry wanted to play and Wenger said no, that's the end of it. There are loads of stories in the papers about there being a rift between the captain and the manager now and it's simply not true.

On another note, who noticed that Henry was with the players in the tunnel when they were lining up against Spurs? Not only was he there, but he was talking to the players who were starting and giving them instructions. I thought that this was a sign of good captaincy even though some other people might not think so. When Adebayor scored for us he ran over to Henry and hugged him on the touchline. Thierry Henry is also influential when he isn't playing!

Spot on^

Hes an influence off the pitch, sharing tactics with players, thats definitely a sign of likeliness for the club is it not? He knew how important the game was and gave as much as he could even though he wasn't playing.

I remember seeing him being interviewed at the end of the game, he said himself that theres stories flying about, Wenger said he couldn't play because he could lengthen his time out injured which could lead to more serious matters.

I don't think he intended to but you almost got the feeling he was trying to get even more attention by standing on the touchline when adabeyor scored and being in the tunnel with the players
