Well I hope they don't get away with it. I don't actually see why they have that rule, but since the rules are the rules surely even Liverpool should abide by them. I doubt they will though.

Just look at what happened after they won the CL, they expected to have a place in the CL next year even though thye had no right to one. The authorities had recently changed the rules about giving the winners a place yet somehow they were happy to revert them back because it was Liverpool.

On the subject of the actualy player I can see why they want him. He couldn't be bothered to play at West Ham, as they weren't a big club but I've heard from people he played well in the WC and if you consider the way Benitez has managed a troublesome player like Bellamy and looks to be doing the same with Pennant, then it makes sense.

I can't see what difference he would make, he hasn't played since September so his fitness will be sh*t. They are missing Sisokko in the middle for a while and just got a serious injury to Luis Garcia. He'll just be as good as he was at West Ham, which wasn't that impressive. Can't see the point of moaning to FIFA for.

Liverpool have some cheek dont they. Honestly what is it that they think makes them so special to not obey the rules of the game. Yet another reason I can't stand them!!
