Slim Fast Works!!!

I have tested Slim Fast for 2 weeks and i'm very impressed. I have 4 Weetabix for my breakfast and then a snack at 10am, then a shake at midday, then another snack and a shake at 5pm then another snack at about 8 or 9pm.

In two weeks I have lost 4.5kg (about 9 pounds) which is quality!!! I also have been going to the gym every night, burning 800 calories.

Nice one BB, good luck with it.

Have been going to the gym alot myself lately, why bother running outside when you've got an air-conditioned treadmill?

Fair one, I can't run as I get shin splints. I done a 3.5 mile Cross Country run on Monday and I done it in about 40min. It was very muddy and slippery. My trainer came off as it got sucked off my foot into some mud. Fun though, but my legs were proper killing me afterwards.

How come you were doing cross-country? Did you volunteer or was it compulsory?

when you say you get shin splints, what does that feel like?

If I play footy for a little bit or run for a little while, I get nasty pains in my shin bones. Feels like they are about to snap.

yeah same here, its shin splints mate. You can buy insoles for your shoes which should stop you getting them. I'm thinking of buying a set.

is there nothing a doctor can do? like a cure lol. really gets on my nerves sometimes.

I might try slim fast as I really need to lose some weight. I weigh about 14st at present and could do with losing about 2 and a half stone in 14 weeks lol

I'm looking to get fit for the summer, i've got Thai Boxing planned so I hope I can stick with that and achieve my target.

Are the shakes basically a main meal then?

yes, but they don't really fill you up for long, thats why they tell you to have snacks.

shakes can help, but I lean towards thinking most of your weight loss has come from going to the gym

Yes I think its the gym thats helped me lose the weight. The shakes just stop you eating big meals. They do really help though.
