Drivers face new phone penalties

I heard Brentford will be using their phones whilst driving to the stadium this weekend.

haha nice one. But seriously its a great move when i'm driving up and down the line from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough all i see is people on the phones.

I was strung by the police the other day and was given a warning about the future increase in fines and points!! Managed to talk my way out of anything this time, but I wont be doing it again in a rush!

Even though I don't drive yet, I probably wouldn't even risk that anyways. I'm always seeing people on the mobile while driving.

Exactly, and if they don't care about using their phone you can bet they don't care about their driving standards, which means their driving is probably bad enough without the added distraction.

When I was a bus Inspector a while ago I was openly assessing a driver, his phone rang and he answered it so I suspended him, he thought I was over reacting, I think I was just doing my job.
