You wait 51 weeks for some good news and then two bits come in as many days! I really think Shipperly has the experience to help us try and stay up. I don't know if we will but it's a really great coup and wouldn't have been possible without the money the fans donated to fighting chance fund.

I hope it works out for him, he's not exactly taken the easy option, moving from the premiership to a tiny club at the bottom of league one that probably pay him peanuts. It doesn't always work but I'm so pleased that I'm going to see his first match this weekend...

Oh and forgot to say it's a 4 month loan contract

I am delighted...having seen the likes of Wijniard flop recently I realise that it's not guaranteed success but the chances of him doing well are high. It's also satisfying because thousands of Brentford fans (myself included on a small scale) have put money into buying a new player. Some have donated £100's, myself just £5 but it's all counted.

He is the people's player...

I'm sure he'll be up for Saturday. There is going to be so much optimist at GP for the first time in a year (and thats a fact not an exaggeration). I really can see us getting a result - what is your away form like?

Our away form is terrible to say the least.. Only 2 wins all season, both at Bournemouth and Brighton. Maybe we could add another southern team beginning with a B to the list eh?

Our defence isn't great, we can't keep a clean sheat for shit but the we don't concede cricket scores. Were scoring more though, hope I'm wrong but I'm going for a score draw
