View Full Version : Chelsea - wycome [carling cup semi second leg]
Chelsea hope to have Ricardo Carvalho back after he missed Saturday's match against Liverpool with a fever and Andriy Shevchenko may earn a start.
Claude Makelele is back from suspension but Chelsea will be without Arjen Robben, John Terry, Khalid Boulahrouz, Joe Cole and Wayne Bridge.
Wycombe welcome back Will Antwi and Matt Bloomfield from injury and Tommy Mooney from suspension.
The visitors may field the line-up that drew 1-1 in the first leg.
I don't expect Wycome to get anything here, they did well in the first leg but Chelski will be feilding a much stronger team. 3-1 to Chelski.

Chelsea have all sorts of problems and we need a good cup upset this season and i'm pinning this game as one of them upsets.

Come on Wycombe  imagine the money it would bring in for them if they got into the final... will be bloody brilliant if they can pull off an upset...
And then another upset in the final :nodyes:

Yeah looks like it will be really hard for Wycombe now. Oh well, an upset could still happen.

2-nil Chelsea, another by Sheva
3-0. Lampard, no chance for Wycome, there wasn't much they could come away with anyway. Good for my dreamteam, 5 goals this week :)
Shevchenko played superb today, no matter what league this team is from he played a blinder.

yes, he's played very well. Don't know why he got sub out by Kalou. It would have been a big lift if he remained for the whole game
Sheva play very well and got 2 goals, because Wycombe is easy team tho!:nodyes:

you're right, but psychologically it helps. And I think it may have helped more if he started and finished the game. It would have shown the manager has confidence in him.
