read or unread messages

When I come on the forum it says how many new topics and new posts there and all that I go into a forum where the black marker is and then its all read so i go back to the index screen and all the posts have been read so I dont know which is new or not?

Any way of fixing this?

There should be a way of fixing it.

if you click on the "Today's Posts" link that will take you to the posts in the last 24 hours and you can just see what threads there are since you last came on.
