Following a poor start to the month, which saw them lose at the hands of fellow promotion contenders Yeovil, Bristol City will be encouraged by the form which has followed that result, which has seen them unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions. Meanwhile, Carlisle come into this game full of confidence, on the back of victories over Port Vale and Bournemouth, which see them sitting just outside the play-offs as they enter the crucial Christmas period.
