Just installed this, just to let you know, if your wondering what the synergy forum is. Its just a list of all the best threads from this forum and other forums from across the internet, that people have "digged".

Currently, only Admin, Moderators and Super Moderators can "digg" the threads. This should bring in a few more members.

sounds good although surely people across the internet can dig every thread just to get their forum name on, making the whole thing pointless

or am I being too cynical?

A little. It's a two edge sword. Sure you get your forum name out there, but you're sure to invite trouble makers, spam bots, and so on.
I like the idea, it gives the option of looking at something different from time to time.

Yeh its like a catch 22, good things will come from it but i'm sure once threads are regularly 'dug' then it may attract some spammers, not that we don't have them already.

well no matter how many threads people can nominate to go on the list. Only one thread per forum per hour is added to the list.
