"Interesting things to stave off boredom" Thread

I'm bored out of my skull alot at the moment, and don't want to spend all my time watching TV or on the Internet.

Anyone got any interesting things to fill time?

Went for a 2 hour walk yesterday, better than being sat in the flat.

Already read a lot, currently reading Hard Times by Charles Dickens.

I'm so bored that I actually watched half an hour of The Mint on ITV last night

Off to the gym soon, that'll keep me occupied for a few hours.

I'm job-hunting next week actually, need to find something that'll fit around my course though.

Currently getting fit enough to join the TA as well.

the gym is always good to spend time at. you can work out and look at the girls.... unless it's an all male gym, then you're shit out of luck.

other things to do when you are bored:
- learn to cook lasagna from scratch (don't use oven ready noodles)
- write a short story
- go out and try to get the phone number of at least 3 girls
- go for a run
- call a relative or old friend you haven't spoken to in a while
- organize your bedroom
- see how hot various items can get in the microwave. (ie. olives, grapes, etc.)
- take apart and put back together items.
- go for a long bike ride.
- get dizzy.
- climb on your roof, throw lawns chairs off the roof and try to get them to land upright.
- pray
- repent
- party
- puke
- masturbate

Haha, that's a great list. I think I'll go through it one by one like on My Name is Earl

If I start going every day that'll cancel out my good work in the gym

Cheeky ba**ard

I'm only in Uni about 7 hours a week, I've got a lot of time to fill. Can't spend all of that with my mates.

Blimey, boredom has struck yet, once again!

Being a student is annoying, you can't get a full time job, therefore no money and the only money you do get is either EMA or pocket money which doesn't exactly go that far these days. So that means a weeks worth of EMA will be saved for the weekend.

Can't wait to finish college!
