I just created my own forum regarding IB. It is an international academic program all around the world students take in high school. It is one of the most rigorous programs a student can participate in. Let me know what you guys think. I am hoping more people register and it will become a very active community.

Only people in (some) private schools take the IB in the UK.

Yeah must be becuase I have never heard of it...

It's because state schools and sixth forms don't get funding for non-National Curriculum qualifications, so have to go for what they'll be paid for teaching (A-Levels).

Not a very level playing field.

i go to a public school and they have ib. i think its mostly public schools which have it in the states. not many have it though.
