Well it's upon us again, CL matches are on this week, with some big clubs in on the verge of being left behind.
In Group A we have Barcelona vs Werber Bremen. Barca need a win to secure their chance to defend the title, but very Werber Bremen have the upper hand. They only need a draw to secure qualification to the next stage. Plus Barca is currently have injury problems with key players. Will this lead to the Catalans playing in the UEFA cup?!?!? :eek:
Meanwhile, Chelsea host Levski Sofia on a match of really no importance. Chelsea have already secured entrance to the next stage, while Levski will be playing for an honorable exit.
In Group B: Bayern host Inter Milan in a game that has no real consequence. Both teams have already secured a spot in the next stage. However, I doubt they will play in a friendly manner!!!
The other two team in this group, Sporting Lisbon vs. Sparta Moscow, will battle it out for third place and a UEFA cup spot up for grabs.
In Group C: Liverpool will play Galatasaray, while PSV host Bordeaux. Both Liverpool and PSV have already secured advancing rights.
In Group D: Valencia are already thru with an impressive campaign, while the big fight is between Roma (2nd, 7 Pts.), Shakhtar Donetsk (3rd, 5 Pts.), and Olympiakos (4th, 2 Pts.). Roma play for qualification looking for at least a draw or Shakhtar loosing to Olympiacos. But Olympiacos will surely go all out for a win and spot into the UEFA cup!!!
Surely a very exciting Tuesday. Hopefully you will be close to tv and get to catch a good match.... I know I will!!!! :D
