Fabio Capello has recalled David Beckham to the Real Madrid CF squad for Saturday's Primera División trip to Real Sociedad de Fútbol. The 31-year-old midfielder had been overlooked for Madrid's last six games, following the 2-0 defeat by RC Deportivo La Coruña on 7 January and his decision to sign for LA Galaxy in the summer. "David is my friend as well as my colleague and what we all want is for him to play as well as train with us," team-mate Guti had said this week.

Capello must have his back to the wall to go back on his word of not playing Beckham for the rest of the season. Good for Beckham to be back although, it may be just one game.

Think Beckham should of started all the games Capello has left him out of. Think Real Madrid and Van Nistelrooy will miss Beckhams set piece pin point accurate crosses.
