Don't bother picking up a PS3, PS4 is right around the corner

In response to some fairly bogus claims by an "analyst" last week, Sony (http://www.engadget.com/tag/sony) has come out of the woodwork to state that yes, it is indeed planning to build a PlayStation 4, but not until at least 2010.

I don't see the point, sony spend millions designing and creating the PS3 and then they waste the profits from the PS3 on something which is probably the same.

yeah and ps3 was suppose to be out spring 2006 and it was a year late, so my recconing it will be 2011/2012 which is a long time not to play any of the latest games, and sony have alway promised to be backword compatable, so end of the day dont make much difference unless your really skint and cant save up £500 by 2012
