Werder To Consider Klose Sale

Werder Bremen sport director Klaus Allofs has revealed that the Bundesliga leaders will consider offers for star striker Miroslav Klose at the end of the season.

Although they will deal with any inquiries, Werder Bremen will try to convince Klose, even if he has express desire to play abroad.

After having a great WC, Klose was not part of the summer transfers, which was quite a surprise to some. This revelation from the club will surely spark a bidding war between clubs. Although no club has made their intentions official yet, Juventus and Barcelona seem eager to acquire Klose.


In my opinion Klose is better off going to Barca than Juve, but I'm sure there will more clubs after him than just these two.

I'd like to see him join us at O.T. He's always capable of scoring goals, alot of hatricks in the seaons would be handy :D

But if we go for him, so will Chelsea and the wage bill will lure him over there.

He won't go to England for that reason, but he's a very good player and could make it at Barca, I don't think he'll go to Juve just because they are in Serie B

If Chelsea do try to get him, Ballack may be influential at convincing Klose to come to England. Much like Shearer convinced Owen to come to Newcastle. However, I don't see Klose coming to England. If he goes abroad, I see him going to Spain. The style of that league suits him better. If he stays in Germany, he will probably go to Bayern.
