Well I've managed to get myself a few quid and I'm thinking about buying a new PC. Unfortuanetly I don't know that much when it comes to the specifaction of a computer and all that so hopefully you guys can help me out.
I've got about £200-250 to spend, and I want a half decent computer that I can upgrade later on if I get more money.
Does anyone have any PC makes they would reccomend or websites? I've heard that 'Acer' are fairly good...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Keep your original pc monitor and case and buy a new motherboard, graphics card, memory and it will be like new again. Thats what I done, we only spent £350. Just buy bits at a time, first starting with the motherboard.

Have a look there tom. You'll get a nice fast setup with some of them.
I like the look of this.

If you got that, then you would only need some ram and you would be sorted. That would be nice and fast for playing footy manager on :nodyes:

u really should look out for the pentium d805. there's no other cpu around, which is currently so cheap and which can be overclocked so hardly. a friend of mine got it up to 4 gHz (!!!) with a watercooling system......
