Wigan striker Caleb Folan should be fit to face Newcastle despite picking up an ankle injury at Watford.

The Latics failed on an appeal to have Fitz Hall's red card at the Hornets last week overturned.

Newcastle captain Scott Parker will return for the trip to Wigan after recovering from a hamstring problem.

Antoine Sibierski (hamstring) could be back while defender Oguchi Onyewu is available again after being ineligible for the Zulte-Waregem game.

This victory will do a lot of good to Wigan's confidence and fight to beat the drop. I think if they reproduce this performance in the next few matches, Wigan could probably to their best form which they produced last season and as a result, they can easily stay up. They just need to be careful of their defending during away matches. They just need to win their home matches and steal some points in their trips

I think many of their key players are still out with injuries
