Tottenham and Middlesbrough have both been charged by the Football Association with failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during their Premiership match on Tuesday.
The charge relates to the incident which saw both George Boateng and Didier Zokora sent-off. Boateng reacted to a challenge from Aaron Lennon, and as he squared up to the England winger he was wrestled away by Pascal Chimbonda and Zokora, before almost every player on the field got involved.
Boateng and Zokora both saw red, but The FA have decided to charge both teams. The clubs have until December 21 to respond to the charge.
Middlesbrough have also formally submitted an appeal against Boateng's red card - and this case will be heard by a disciplinary commission on Thursday.
Spurs are also expected to lodge an appeal on Zokora's behalf.

Idont see how spurs have the nerve to appeal for Zakora. He shouldn't have got involved the way he did. Its his own fault.
