What's your view on International football? I think its just an obstruction from the league, I don't really care much for it anymore. I think it just gets in the way of the league and gets your best players injured.

It's ok when it's a major competition like the Euro 2008 or World Cup when it's in the summer and the league is over.

Your view?

Is this the competitions such as UEFA Cup and the Champions League? or just World Cup and Europan Cup football?

I generally think, its a time where you can get the majority of the football nation to come together and support country in competition. There are obviously doubts to it when a key player gets injured, but its not predictable.

i dont think it really gets in the way, in fact i quite like the break. Being an Ireland fan, its a chance to show your support for your country and obviosly its not good when a key player is injured but they could get injured anytime. Its not necessarily just the international game. The only thing that bugs me in the qualifiying structure is the teams of Andorras and San Marinos. No offence to them but the population of the country is less than Manchester so do they really have a chance in cometing. Other than that i quite like international football.

I've never cared about it. WC and Euro comps are great when the whole country go crazy for a month, but when, instead of domestic matches you get the most boring england matches possible that are basically no-win matches, it's pointless and boring

It just bores me, I never watch it.

Only match I watched all the way through during the last World Cup was the final.

This is coming from someone who once watched Workington vs. Kendal in the Unibond League Cup on a freezing rainy night.

What I feel is that International football was first here, and first anywhere. I mean to represent your Country, and gather accolades can actually boost a country's morale, and other such things.
Think about it, Sure League may be where all the action is, but the international footbal is what keeps the players going to big Clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal, once they see them perform in international fixtures, they're picked up. Like the Ivory Coast team

I like it. I just think its stupid when they friendlies interrupting the season. They're was a pretty good idea said the other day. They could do a mini two-three week tournament over the summer to decide which teams go through. That way it wouldn't interfere with the season and u would be finished with qualifying. This way both sets of managers would be happy.
