So Is speeding ever acceptable?

I would say yeah, everyone does it on the motorways, when i'm traveling at 80-90 people still go past me and the speed most of the general public do is about 80mph which is totally acceptable in my eyes.

I speed all the time on the motorway, the only places I stick to the speed limits are in Built Up areas, usually 30mph zones. That is totally unacceptable, speeding in built up areas.

Yes. In the middle of the night doing 71 is acceptable. What's not acceptable is bad driving at any speed.

In a perfect world the answer would be NO. But lets face it most of us have gone over the limit on a regular basis. Although we should strive to watch our speed, especially around schools.

Yeah good point!!
When im on the motorway i regularly drive over a ton especially on the way to Ibrox,but as you say schools etc slow down.I rarely speed in the city.Maybe its because of congestion maybe not.But there are times when care is the order of the day.
