What Internet Speed Do You Have? I was just thinking, if someone people have slowish internet, if that exists nowadays, then maybe there should be some restrictions on sig file sizes. Take my sig and avatar for example. They could slow someone innternet down if they are not on a fast connection. I'm only on 2mb and it seems ok.

I got 8mb,but My BT phone line can only give a maximum of approx 5.5 meg so the mbs dont matter,its the phoneline capacity that governs it.

I have an 8Mb connection with Tiscali. However, this week my connection has been slow as hell, I find it hard to load up a page properly at peak times usually 5-10 pm GMT.

Its getting to the stage where its pissing me off, I know its nothing to do with my computer because its top notch, just the bellends who run my internet.

I'm not sure if they are updating their servers, I hope so, don't want to have to be moaning to anyone over the phone...

I ran that ZDNet test and it said my connection is 56k dial up... :animatedfear:

Thank fook for that. My internet is back up to its normal standards. I ran that test again and got 3940, i've got a shared connection so I suppose it divides the rest to the home computer.
