Honestly it will be really hard to start a new forum for football. There are hundreds of them, I would say it would fail. But thats just my personal opinion.

The best one is ipbfree which is just a free version of Invision Power Board (not invisionfree). It's really hard getting members but it's worth a shot.

phpBB is far the best free forum to use.

is that the one that Gizmo uses for his forum? I dont like the phpBB layout and it has limited features. I'm used to ipbfree which you can do alot more with.

rooney34, what you gotta do is probably start off a forum with a partner and reffer people you know and start posting to yourself and get interesting threads going. change the banners and skins or people will **** off :animatedfear:

You need a few people who are going to put alot of effort into it.. i tried to do a forum, but i was the only admin so in the end i just thought fuck it cant be arsed anymore :nodyes:

never really works out starting a forum. If your gonna do it, get proper paid hosting, a paid domain name and some good forum software.

I heard it was a good palce for Decent forums, go check it out, or there's always this palce called:Runboard.
