I don't see how different this would be compared to St. Patrick's Day, and that is celebrated worldwide. Maybe not a holiday but celebrated notheless.

But thats the Irish we bend over backwards to help other countries but do fck all for our own.

We should be proud of our heritage but the govt would sooner not want to upset those from asian countries. (trying not to sound racist)
